JOB DESCRIPTION

• Cycle 1 & 2 English teacher in an immersion environment.
  Candidate will teach subjects in English, (English as a first language, Mathematics, Sciences, Art, etc.).
• Salary is according to the salary grid.
• Work week: This is a full-time position for the school year 2019-2020, which could result in a permanent position.
• 20 to 26 students per class.

PROFICIENCY

• Excellent knowledge of the English language, (written and spoken).
• Dynamic, resourceful, motivated person with lots of initiative.
• Collaborative and a team player.
• Ability to plan and organize activities and projects.
• Use of technology as a learning tool, (TI, iPad, laptop).
• Knowledge and experience of the Balanced Literacy Approach is an asset.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates will hold a Bachelors degree in Kindergarten and Elementary Education Program or in Education in English.
• Valid Ministry teaching license for Elementary school teaching (or eligibility to obtain it).
